Dew the Pink Flamingo

I wanted to share one more photo before I disappear for a week to go down to SE Colorado. Have a great week all!

For the first time in years I went to the Denver Zoo this past weekend for Mother's Day. I'm always conflicted about zoos but the flamingos were certainly happy and they have made great strides in improving the zoo with more natural enclosures and better care for the animals. And perhaps even more importantly, zoos are increasingly playing a key role in the conservation of biodiversity with captive breeding programs.
