Berried Cedar Waxwing
My wildest dreams have come true and waxwings have shown up at the neighbor's mountain ash tree across the street and are feasting on the alcholic berries. This one was one of the best from my attempt today, I hope they stick around so I can get some more opportunities later.
Cedar Waxwings ( http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Cedar_Waxwing_dtl.html ) are a favorite bird to watch, especially when they discover some fermented fruit and get loaded, hah. These guys were holding their berry booze pretty good, but waxwings have been known to even die from over-imbibing at times. They are also one of the few birds around here to primarily make it on a fruit diet.
