Red-bow Sublime
A serene sunset red bow emerges out of a rapidly intensifying storm (see some of the lightning it produced in the first comment below).
Red Bows (sunset and sunrise rainbows) are a result of the sunset sun rays (or sunrise) traveling long paths through the lower atmosphere where they are scattered by air molecules and dust. Short wavelength blues and greens are scattered most strongly leaving the remaining transmitted light proportionately richer in reds and yellows (source ( http://www.atoptics.co.uk/rainbows/redbow.htm ) ).
