Evening Vespers in the Rockies

Really great sunsets can certainly inspire us to do great deeds. ;-)))

By the way I took this out on the flatlands, nowhere near the mountains. Long lenses can make fantastic landscape tools, this one was with a 300 F4 and a 1.4 teleconverter. No filters were used, but I did add saturation to the sky in Nikon Capture NX.

The real key was to notice the brief moment of brilliant fire in the sky light and stop photographing seagulls and point my lens in the opposite direction at the mountains, hah. ;-)))
