Night Hike @ Eagle's Nest Open Space

Eagle's Nest Open Space near Livermoore, CO is a wonderful place for a quick hike close to where I live in Fort Collins. Make sure to get here early though, as the gate closes at dusk (you can probably get away with some blue hour shooting like this on your hike out after the sunset). Looking northwesterly here, you can see Fort Collin's light pollution in back, while a nearly full moon illuminates the foreground.

PS, this was taken on Monday night (aka the calm before the storm). We are forecast to get an early snow storm with up to 24" of the white stuff, operation Abdominal Snowman commence!
