Autumn's Headwaters
Driving Highway 67 to Cripple Creek at peak fall aspen color is an absolute delight! Though not as famous as Kebler Pass for aspen, I frankly found Teller County to be easily as attractive to the photographer in me. If anything, finding accessible viewpoints was easier in Teller thanks to a more open understory veg-wise.
Shot Notes: I honestly can't remember having a polarizer on, but looking at the results I'm going to say I did. ;-)
No HDR, just basic post stuff on a frame shot at -1EV to protect the clouds (pulled up darks a hair in post).
