Killdeer Strut

A Killdeer ( http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Killdeer.html ) from our camping trip last weekend that we saw at Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge in the North Park area of N. Colorado.

We are in the midst of Killdeer breeding season around here, with many already sitting on eggs. Soon we should have some darned cute babies around (eggs incubate for 24-26 days)! ;-)
