Burning Light Above and Below: Hewlett Fire
A starry view from near the end of the blue hour of the Hewlett Fire just west of Fort Collins, CO in the Poudre Canyon at a popular hiking area. The very bright spot on right is of course Venus.
Currently the fire is 370 acres and 5% contained. A heartfelt thanks to the firefighters on this and sending positive thoughts to those in harms way! You can keep up on the fire (and other fires) on the InciWeb here ( http://inciweb.org/incident/2863/ ) .
