Ancient Mossy Riverside Grove: the Skagit at Newhalem

While I was browsing my N. Cascades National Park backlog folder, I was overcome by the urge to do some photoart with verdant old growth forest photos. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I am enjoying it. There's something about a scene like this that makes a photo-impressionistic style work for me. Happy weekend all!

Notes: Used Topaz Simplify and Adjust filters along with other tonal and color enhancements in Photoshop. The Topaz stuff was blended more on a darkness layer to preserve some detail.
