Rockin' Out in Vedauwoo, Wyoming

That 1.4 billion year-old Sherman Granite sure is pretty, and as it turns out these are the oldest exposed rocks in all of Wyoming. They began rockin' in the free world courtesy of the uplift of the Laramie Mountains some 70 million years ago. Today over 900 climbing routes make this a world-class climbing destination.
