Evening Serenity Before the Storm

Happy Memorial Day All! A huge thank you to those that have served.

Another shot from my outing with my friends last week at Arapaho Bend here in Fort Collins, CO.

Image Notes: Not hdr, this is one exposure that I was testing out the newest version of ACR on. I was impressed with both highlight and shadow recovery abilities in the Lightroom 3/CS5 version and consider the noise control a huge improvement. In fact, given the buggy crash-ridden mess that is Nikon Capture NX2 I may actually like the output of ACR enough to make the switch.
