Bridled Wind Machine

We had a great time going to Carter Lake this past week for my wife to work on someone's sail cover. I tagged along for the ride and her client even took us out on the water, but the winds were a bit too much for sailing so we plied the open waters on engine power to be safe. The dynamic conditions did make for some great clouds to play with photographically. The boat featured here is actually a rental, hah.

Shot Notes: Singe frame double-processed in raw for sky and foreground. It came out of Nikon Capture NX2 looking basically like this but I did apply a little Topaz in CS.
