How Many Stars Does it Take to Get to the Center of the Milky Way?

For my wife's birthday we headed out to one of my favorite fairly close low-light pollution locations near Encampment, Wyoming off Sage Creek Road. With no moon to interfere and great viewing conditions I am thrilled with how crisp it came out, especially how well the Andromeda Galaxy rendered on left and the bright meteor showing up conveniently on right (and an additional dim one too, heh). It's just too bad the aspen were not anywhere near peak, but I happen to like green ones too. ;-)
