From Orcas to Olympus

The views from Mount Constitution on Orcas Island are incredible! This was taken near the false summit at blue hour (you can just start to make out stars) right before the park ranger kicked me out on the account of darkness. I tried to explain that there was still sunset left, but she wasn't having any of it. ;-)))

In this image you can see from Orcas Island across the San Juan Islands (Friday Harbor's lights are visible) all the way to the Olympic Mountains on the other side of the Strait of Juan de Fuca with the lights of Port Angles and Port Townsend twinkling at the base of the mountain range. I got one decent sunset for the whole week of my visit, so glad I got out for this one!
