Milky Way Over Navajo Nation

Posting this image to hopefully get folks excited about the night sky, since the Perseids Meteor Shower is peaking this weekend!

I was surprised there was this much light pollution around Chinle, AZ. Thankfully if you get out of town a bit like here, you can still get an impressive view of the night sky. For this image I used ISO 6400, so the camera is seeing more stars than a naked eye would. I took this image on my solar eclipse trip back in May.
