Moonshine Vs. Milky Way

This image features Joe Wright Reservoir up on Cameron Pass in the Colorado Rockies. The night sky features the Milky Way on right and Jupiter on the left dueling with moonshine from a rising moon just outside of the frame on far left. This is where I setup for the Perseid Meteor Shower this year.

Image notes: the foreground is lit from moonlight (no light painting), but two exposures were used with one for sky and one for foreground. Manually blended in Photoshop via layers.
