Exploring the Night: Astrophotography and Nocturnal Visions
Dipping into Cascadian Memories at Newberry
A moonlit view of Newberry National Volcanic Monument ( http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/centraloregon/newberrynvm/ ) featuring the Big Dipper reflecting into East Lake (Oregon). This is an area somewhat akin to Crater Lake, but Newberry can claim one of the largest collections of cinder cones, domes, lava flows, and fissures in the world. It is a truly fascinating place to visit.
I've just returned from a wonderful 2 week vacation across the western US and am excited to share some of my photographs from the trip! I hope you enjoy this first tease! ;-)))
