One of the most interesting things we saw today was a group of over ten rabbits searching for sustenance in the midst of our still deep snows. The two Bald Eagles perched above them in a cottonwood tree made it even more interesting. We were amazed the rabbits seemed so calm with those guys nearby.
Here you can see where he's stripped the bark off to eat. It seems the rabbits have formed some pretty good paths through the brush and are adapt at digging for grasses, etc. through the snow.
