3 Million Views Celebration
I was checking my stats and noticed sometime in the past week my account snuck past 3 million views, wow! Let me offer 3 million thank yous right back at you! Thanks so much all for the encouragement and stopping by to check out my work over the past few years, you all have been a huge tailwind helping to propel me and my photography forward. Thanks a million times three!
This image shows off some of the crazy nice sky we enjoyed in Nebraska. Here we are looking down a road towards Crow Butte in the area of the White River in the Sandhills region. Such a neat state!
Image Notes: really just a single exposure but I wanted to note that I experimented with using my Tokina 11-16 mm DX lens on the D700 in FX mode. From what I can see as long as you are at 16 mm it works great in FX mode with just a bit of corner softness compared to my Nikon 17-35. 1 mm might not sound like much, but on the ultra-wide end it really is nice to have! Of course I could go to DX mode and shoot all the way out to 11 mm, but I don't want to sacrifice the resolution. So in essence I can look at my Tokina as a 16 mm prime lens on FX.
